This empirical analysis strives to properly investigate the potential consequences of foreign exchange rate and money supply on retail food inflation. It also endeavours explore commodity-wise inflation volatility in Indian outlook. The successful outcome ARDL technique sufficiently reveals that short run, have a direct impact While other hand, long produces negative prices. causality examination demonstrates there is no running from towards inflation, while unidirectional exists toward India. Moreover, result commodities like vegetables, pulses, condiment, fruits, tea double-digit with high volatility. essential such as egg, meat, fish, cereal milk seem less volatile. disintegration amply grains, drain, fish tremendous contribution prices expansion.
